Job Description

    You will be working as a Chemist Assistant in a Coal-based DRI sponge iron production plant located in Nagpur. Your role will involve conducting chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure quality and purity. You will also assist in optimizing plant operations, troubleshooting quality-related issues, and maintaining laboratory equipment and records.To be eligible for this position, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The salary is negotiable based on your qualifications and experience, and this position is open to male candidates.Key responsibilities include conducting chemical analysis using various techniques, monitoring and controlling the quality of materials, troubleshooting quality-related issues, maintaining laboratory equipment and records, and ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements. You will also work on optimizing chemical processes, developing new materials, collaborating with metallurgists, and ensuring environmental compliance.The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, attention to detail, proficiency in laboratory management systems, and good communication abilities. You may be required to work in industrial settings with exposure to high temperatures, dust, and chemicals, and wear protective equipment as needed.This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shifts, and the job location is on-site in Nagpur.
