Job Description

    As a Desktop Support Executive at CropData Technology Pvt. Ltd., you will be part of a technology-driven agribusiness company based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. We are focused on merging agriculture, data science, and digital transformation to provide smart and sustainable solutions to empower farmers and agribusinesses.Your role will involve providing first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, installing, configuring, and upgrading operating systems and applications, and managing LAN/WAN infrastructure and basic network configurations. Additionally, you will maintain an inventory of IT assets, monitor system performance, and ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls. Collaborating with vendors and service providers for IT hardware and networking requirements will also be part of your responsibilities.To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support, hardware maintenance, and networking. Proficiency in Windows OS, basic Linux commands, and MS Office tools is essential. Hands-on experience with LAN, routers, switches, and basic networking protocols, as well as a good understanding of IT infrastructure and system administration, are required. You should be able to troubleshoot independently, manage multiple support tasks effectively, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred qualifications include certification in hardware and networking (e.g., CompTIA A, N, CCNA) and prior experience in IT support within a mid-size company or startup environment.If you are proactive, skilled in hardware and networking, and passionate about providing technical support, we invite you to join our IT team at CropData Technology Pvt.
