Job Description

    As a Network Expert based in Nagpur with over 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing network infrastructures to meet business needs. You will collaborate with senior network engineers to create detailed design documents, implement routing plans, and ensure high availability, scalability, and redundancy. Additionally, you will assist in network capacity planning to meet current and future needs.Your core responsibilities will include configuring and deploying various networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. You will set up and manage network protocols like TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, and ensure optimal performance of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Implementing network security policies and configurations, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists, will be crucial in protecting the organizations infrastructure.You will proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Troubleshooting network issues, analyzing traffic patterns, and implementing performance enhancements will be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will be responsible for resolving network-related incidents within agreed SLAs and performing root cause analysis for network failures.In terms of security, you will implement and enforce network security measures to protect the organizations infrastructure. Regular network security assessments, network segmentation, and secure remote access configurations will be essential to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with internal and external security policies.Your role will also involve configuring routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, as well as managing switches, VLAN configurations, and port security. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate network documentation, preparing network performance reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure network services smooth operation.To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of network protocols, experience with network hardware and devices, and knowledge of network monitoring and management tools. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure and handle network incidents efficiently.In this dynamic and fast-paced IT environment, you will play a critical role in maintaining high network availability and performance, responding to incidents promptly, optimizing network resources, and ensuring security compliance.
