Job Description

Room service captain is responsible for the smooth running of room service operations and providing excellent customer service:Customer service: Provide a friendly atmosphere and quality products and answer any questions about room service.Staff management: Ensure that employees are trained properly and follow standard operating procedures.Supply management: Ensure that supply areas are stocked and organized Order management: Take room service orders over the phone, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure they are delivered on time.Food and beverage service: Set up tables, serve food, and collect dirty dishes.Safety and sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and follow safety and sanitation procedures.Opening and closing: Perform opening and closing procedures Paperwork: Complete end-of-shift paperwork.VIP service: Provide personal service to VIP guests.Duty roster: Prepare the duty roster for the department.Hospitality suites: Supervise functions in the hospitality suites.
