As a software developer at Delaplex, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced HTML5-based web user interfaces for real-time control and monitoring systems. Your key responsibilities will include:- Implementing frontend solutions using Vue.js and/or Angular, and occasionally pure HTML/CSS/JavaScript- Building performant UI components capable of handling large data sets and frequent real-time updates- Troubleshooting and resolving frontend and backend performance, memory, and functional issues- Extending existing backend functionality in C#/.NET-based microservices- Working with WebSocket and REST-based services- Designing reusable UI components and shared libraries- Participating in system testing, integration testing, and general troubleshooting- Evaluating new technologies relevant to real-time UI and control systemsIn terms of qualifications, you should have:Core Experience:- 7 years of professional software development experience- Strong experience developing large-scale web-based applications- Proven track record delivering production-quality softwareFrontend (Primary Focus):- Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript- Production experience with Vue.js (2 or 3) and/or Angular (Angular 2)- Experience building performant frontends for large datasets- Solid understanding of responsive web design- Experience using WebSockets for real-time communication- Experience handling browser compatibility issues- Ability to build applications using pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when required- Familiarity with Node.js and npmBackend (Working Knowledge Required):- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns- Experience developing in C# and .NET- Experience with .NET Framework 4.8 or equivalent, and awareness of newer .NET versions (e.g., .NET 6/7/8)- Ability to troubleshoot backend logic and extend existing services- Experience working with microservices-based architectures- Experience with REST-based APIsArchitecture & Concurrency:- Experience developing multi-threaded applications- Understanding of standard object-oriented and enterprise design patternsData & Storage:- Comfortable working in systems where persistence is file-system/XML-based- Experience working with custom in-memory caching mechanisms- Minimal database interaction expectedProfessional Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Detail-oriented with ability to learn quickly- Good written and verbal communication skillsGreat-to-Have (Preferred) Skills:- Experience with ASP.NET- Experience designing or developing microservices- Experience with Docker/containers for development and testing- Experience with Linux-based development environments- Knowledge of network programming concepts- Experience building real-time dashboards or monitoring systems- Familiarity with Enyo or GoJS UI libraries- Experience automating build or test pipelinesOptional/Nice-to-Have:- Knowledge of differences between HTML5 and older HTML standards- Experience with CI/CD automation- Experience in the broadcast/video/media technology domain- Exposure to container-based deployments in productionThis role at Delaplex offers you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology consulting and supply chain solutions, where you can make a meaningful impact through your software development expertise.
