The role involves a strong focus on automation testing using Python, while also performing some manual testing.The engineer will primarily write test scripts using existing automation frameworks, contribute to regression, functional, API, and performance testing, and integrate automated tests into Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement automated test scripts using PythonExecute automated and manual tests for web, desktop, and API applicationsDevelop and maintain API automation tests using Postman and Python librariesCreate and maintain functional, regression, smoke, performance, load, and security testsIntegrate automated tests into existing Jenkins CI/CD pipelinesExecute tests on virtualized and containerized environmentsAnalyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed reportsCollaborate with developers and other QA engineers to improve product qualityFollow established automation coding standards and participate in code reviewsRequired Skills & ExperienceCore6 years of experience in software test automationStrong proficiency in Python for automationExperience with Selenium WebDriverExperience with API testing using Postman and PythonExperience working with CI/CD pipelines, particularly JenkinsSolid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLCExperience testing web, desktop, and API applicationsNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with performance and load testingFamiliarity with DockerExperience with Git-based version controlExperience working in virtualized test environments .
