Job Description

    HVAC Technician Job DescriptionSummary:An HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate should possess technical knowledge, mechanical skills, and excellent customer service abilities.Key Responsibilities:
    • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps
    • Diagnose system malfunctions and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient operation
    • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure system longevity
    • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and concerns
    • Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand system designs and layouts
    • Lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as necessary
    • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and manufacturer recommendations for optimal system performance
