Evaluation Engineer

Job Description

Join Cars24 as an Evaluation Engineer and conduct thorough technical evaluations of used cars across assigned field locations. You will inspect vehicle condition, perform test drives, identify accidental or repaired panels, estimate repair and maintenance work, capture mandatory photos, validate vehicle documents, and submit detailed inspection reports within defined turnaround time. This role requires strong used-car diagnostic skills, comfort with daily travel, and the ability to deliver a professional customer experience during every inspection. Core responsibilities include end-to-end technical and visual inspections of used cars, road tests, diagnosis of engine, brakes, suspension, steering, clutch, gearbox, tires, battery, and Nvh issues, detection of accidental history, chassis damage, repaired or repainted panels, document validation, repair estimation, and timely inspection reporting. Mandatory requirements include valid two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving licenses, a personal two-wheeler for daily travel, comfort with 50-60 km daily travel, field work starting by 8:30 Am, and weekend or festive-season availability.
