Job Description

    General Manager - HR & AdministrationJob SummaryHR & Administration to lead the overall HR and administrative function. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in HR policy, Industrial Relations, labour laws, statutory and plant compliances and general administration.Key Responsibilities1. HR Policy & ProcessesDraft, review and implement HR policies, SOPs and processes.Ensure effective implementation of HR policies across the organization.Improve employee productivity, discipline and organizational effectiveness.2. Industrial Relations & LegalHandle Industrial Relations (IR), employee grievances and disciplinary matters.Conduct/manage domestic enquiries and employee dispute resolution.Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws.Coordinate with legal advisors and labour-law consultants.3. Plant & Statutory ComplianceManage overall HR, labour, factory and plant statutory compliances.Maintain statutory registers, records, licences, returns and compliance calendars.Coordinate statutory inspections, audits and government visits.Ensure timely submission of statutory returns, notices and records.4.Government LiaisoningHandle liaisoning with government departments and statutory authorities.Coordinate with Factory Inspectorate, Labour Department and other relevant authorities.Manage statutory inspections and resolve compliance-related observations.Maintain effective professional relationships with government authorities.5.Payroll & CompensationOversee monthly payroll, attendance, leave, incentives and deductions.Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for payroll activities.Ensure compliance relating to PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, PT, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements.6.Employee Retention & EngagementDevelop and implement employee retention schemes.Identify employee retention risks and prepare action plans.Drive employee engagement initiatives.Conduct employee interaction and feedback sessions.7.General AdministrationManage overall plant/office administration.Handle housekeeping, security, transport, canteen and facility management.Manage administrative vendors and service providers.Monitor administrative expenses and implement cost-saving measures.8.Team ManagementLead and manage the HR & Administration team.Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.Act as the key HR interface between employees and management.QualificationMBA/PGDM HR / MSW / relevant HR qualification.1525 years of relevant HR & Administration experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.Interested can send their updated resume
