Job Description

    As a QuickBooks Accounting Specialist, your role involves being a Full-Charge Bookkeeper. Your key responsibilities include:- General Ledger Management: It is crucial to maintain a clean Chart of Accounts and ensure that all transactions are categorized correctly.- Banking & Reconciliation: Your tasks will include linking bank feeds and reconciling monthly statements to ensure that the book balance matches the bank balance. - Accounts Payable (AP): You will be responsible for entering bills, tracking vendor terms, and scheduling payments.- Accounts Receivable (AR): Your duties will involve creating invoices, tracking overdue payments, and processing customer deposits.- Financial Reporting: You will be tasked with generating Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports for management.- Inventory Management: Tracking stock levels, assemblies, and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) is essential for effective inventory management.- Sales Tax Compliance: Setting up automated sales tax based on location and filing returns accurately is a critical aspect of the role.In addition to the above responsibilities, familiarity with USA compliance requirements such as TAX rates is essential for this role.
