Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field/ MCA.
Minimum 3 years of experience in development on API platforms like Apigee, ESB, Kong
Strong experience in Java programming language.
Proficient in using API platforms preferably APIGEE for API management and development.
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
Familiarity with API security best practices and protocols.

Define overall API architecture, API implementations, integration, and deployment of API management platforms such as APIGEE.
Ability to understand pilot implementation plan, Reference Architecture, develop governance to adhere to those architecture guidelines
Design, build, maintain, and support the Apigee infrastructure.
Best practices and guidelines covering Security, Audit, Error handling, logging frameworks, API Design guidelines, etc.
Design and implement API Gateway solutions.
Lead analytical and consulting working sessions to solve technical problems faced by the application teams trying to onboard to Apigee API Gateway
Facilitate DR (Disaster Recovery) exercises to ensure that the team is fully prepared in the event of a catastrophe.
Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to the Apigee platform.
Ensure documentation is created and remains updated for Apigee-related work.
Authentication Authorization mechanisms - Experience with API security standards and implementation (OAuth, Open ID)
