Job Description

    a safety coordinatordevelops and implements workplace safety programs to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Key responsibilities include conducting safety inspections and risk assessments, providing employee safety training, investigating incidents, maintaining safety records, and collaborating with management to foster a safe and healthy work environment.Key Responsibilities
      • Policy Development & Implementation:Create, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards and internal company objectives.
    • Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment:Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards, evaluate equipment, and assess risks to prevent injuries and illnesses.
    • Employee Training:Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs to educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of equipment.
    • Incident Investigation:Investigate accidents, near misses, and hazardous incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures.
    • Compliance Monitoring:Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations.
    • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and safety data sheets (SDS), for compliance and improvement purposes.
    • Safety Culture:Promote a strong safety culture within the organization by collaborating with staff and management to continuously improve safety practices.
    • Safety Audits:Perform comprehensive safety audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to safety standards.
    • Reporting:Generate reports for management on safety performance, key findings from inspections, and recommendations for program enhancements.
