Job Description

: Industry Manager, Retail (English)Location: Amsterdam, NetherlandsExperience Level: MidMinimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 3 years of experience in Sales working with Advertising solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support customers in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in building relationships within the media and advertising sectors.
  • Experience working in an online sales, business-development, and marketing capacity.
  • Experience working directly with clients.
  • Knowledge of Googles Advertising products.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

We advise clients on Googles broad range of products across search, video, and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.Responsibilities
  • Partner and consult with our Retail customers omnichannel and platforms with the goal of co-developing effective digital strategies, increasing Google product knowledge and adoption, optimizing customer advertising, and growing the business.
  • Develop and maintain C-level relationships, serve as a point of contact to customers and advise on digital trends, while maintaining a strong competitive edge against industry peers.
  • Structure joint business plans or account plans for key customer accounts and help transform growth curves through understanding of their business objectives, key performance indicators, and challenges.
  • Analyze data trends and customer performance to generate industry insights, collaborate cross-functionally to identify next big bets, and prepare and conduct transformational pitches and presentations.
  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to participate in industry events and conferences.
