Senior Aftermarket ManagerTextron Specialized VehiclesAmsterdam, NetherlandsPosted Date: 2025-02-25Reference No: 330595JOB DUTIES:Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities.Textron GSE are seeking a Senior Aftersales Manager, who will be responsible for the aftermarket and service for Europe, the Middle East, SE Asia, New Zealand, and Australia. You will be responsible for Textron GSE spare parts, service departments, and the Poyle maintenance support operation, driving all areas to achieve AOP, with a focus on improving the customer experience. Meeting customers is essential, and therefore travel will be a key element in maintaining and increasing the customer base.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and developing the aftermarket team, ensuring objectives and targets are achieved, and we exceed SLAs to customers;
  • Ensuring efficiency improvements related to time, cost, and quality;
  • Maintaining contact with clients to obtain customer feedback in relation to our product and service quality;
  • Assisting clients in resolving issues and complaints concerning purchased products or services;
  • Building and establishing good working relationships with clients, to facilitate increased sales and revenue;
  • Monitoring contract details to notify clients of pending expiration and helping process renewals;
  • Coordinating with the marketing team on promotional and marketing campaigns to create awareness and product publicity;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure satisfied clientele and increased returns;
  • Liaising with sales team to discuss business plans necessary for enhancing sales performance;
  • Ensuring clients are supported in line with set customer service standards;
  • Developing and optimising support and service processes, tools, and systems;
  • Conducting price and contract negotiations with clients, to establish contract details and attain profit margin;
  • Oversee all post-sales services provided to clients, to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of job operations by conducting research and participating in educational programmes;
  • Providing periodic reports to management on all after sales activities;
  • Ensuring compliance with all general and company policies when carrying out job duties.
As a Senior Aftermarket Manager, we would ask you bring the following skills and experience:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering related field, or extensive experience in technical service support;
  • At least five years of proven leadership skills;
  • Knowledge of the GSE industry is advantageous;
  • Previous experience in a technical sales environment, and with spares sales;
  • Experience in exporting product internationally, and working with agents internationally;
  • Multilingual, particularly proficiency in German, is desirable;
  • Exposure to ISO 9000;
  • Customer and target focused;
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills;
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) and business systems software.
