Experience: 4 - 7 Years JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with business analysts and team leads to determine the most effective testing and inspection strategy for projects of varying complexity and size. Provides Section 508 compliance scanning for the new and existing Web applications as well as PDF, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint documents. Consults, advises, and participates in the design of various IT processes and controls to support compliance with policies, standard, regulatory requirements, etc. Develops test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports based on business requirements documents for multiple projects of varying size. Maintains and modifies existing software applications as it relates to User Experience and Section 508 Compliance. Execute testing on various software applications, support and reporting systems. Documents and reports system defects to the project team. Ensures that measurable test objectives are established for each system being tested. Ensures that defects uncovered in the test are recorded, summarized and utilized in post project. Experience in Creating the VPAT documents. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related SKILLS REQUIRED: Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile/ Scrum software methodologies. Extensive knowledge of Section 508 compliance and cross - browser compatibility issues. Skilled in the use of Test Management Tool to document, analyze, track defects and communicate testing results. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to produce concise written reports. Extensive knowledge and experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Bootstrap, LESS, jQuery libraries and the latest releases of JavaScript within cross - browser/ platform (Mac & PC) environments. Extensive experience in testing with screen readers like, Jaws NVDA, and Zoomtext Principals only apply (no agencies),
