Job Description

    Job Responsibilities : As a Customer Support Engineer you will be providing support to customers in isolating, diagnosing, reproducing and fixing technical issues in a timely manner. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : - Managing cases, requests and enhancements using online Ticketing tools and support processes - Excellent Written and verbal skills; excellent phone manner . - Logical approach to problem solving. - Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment - Providing a high level of service to our customers and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times - Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our DevelopmentImplementation group to resolve more advanced issues when necessary - Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps - Providing assistance and cover for other team members where required - - Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management system (CVS), build processes, and debuggers in the software development process. Technical know-how : Mandatory : - Candidate is expected to possess strong logical problem solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. - Understanding of cloud, client/server, networking, and Internet technology fundamentals is required. - Academic or comparable experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. Hands-on experience with Java or scripting experience is a plus. - Experience troubleshooting or debugging on Linux or Windows is required. - Excellent Analytical skills and strong attention to details - Previous working knowledge with ETL tools or Integration tool is must. - Sound knowledge of SQL writing, Oracle or similar databases - Working knowledge of WS Soap and Restful. - Working knowledge of XML, XSL,XSD - Working knowledge any Support Ticketing tool or JIRA Nice to have : - Working knowledge on SSL - Knowledge/experience of Load Balancing, Cluster - Familiarity with the EDI - Working knowledge of Java, Apache Tomcat,
