FC Controls is a key monitoring function in Financial Control. The team is responsible for adoption and execution of FC global policies and practices in the region. The team is also responsible for ongoing monitoring and tracking of Key performance indicators and providing management with relevant dashboards in this regardWhat will you be doing Preparation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet analysisPreparation of monthly recoverability analysis for service entityPreparation of monthly FX exposure analysisPreparation of monthly Inform substantiationProcessing of various month-end journalsPreparation of monthly tax computationCompiling dashboard and tracking the progress on Statutory Financials and audit for various entities in the regionSupport Balance Sheet Control in global control initiativesWhat we re looking for:Qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCAStrong academic background 1st /2nd class honours, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institutionRelevant years post qualification experienceExperience in a month-end or quarter-end focused reporting roleKnowledge and understanding of the key accounting principles under IFRSStrong excel skillsPrevious experience with having used either SAP or HyperionGood analysis and problem solving skillsStrong control awareness.Good stakeholder engagement skills and understanding & executing their requirements / expectationsSkills that will help you in the role:Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, pro-active and a team playerStrong interpersonal skills and excellent communicatorWillingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolutionEye for detail and exception track record in managing and resolving conflict situationsAssertiveness, tenacious and control focusedExpected to take accountability/responsibility of deliverablesAnswerable to questions and able to substantiate data when required by client-facersRequired to provide detailed analysis and information on complex queries/problems and communicate to stakeholders on proposed solutions and recommendationsAble to perform good analysis, resolve problems and initiate workable innovative recommendations and solutions to take the function forward to achieve better performance efficiencies.
