The Analytics Engineer is responsible for design, build, maintenance and support for all business and technical aspects of the Kronos Analytics product extensions, along with various customer specific custom analytics offerings. The engineer must be well versed in the required tools for both high level architecture and detailed designs. Must be able to understand and communicate industry best practices for high volume data flows and performance-oriented data transformation. Engineer must be able to methodically dissect and troubleshoot ETL processes which may contain complex business and technical rules. Able to formulate a fix with limited or no long-term impacts in functionality or supportability across all customer tenants. Must be able to directly interact with other Kronos Analytics consultants to gather and document required information effectively and provide recommendations to product owners relating to the required changes needed. Must be flexible for taking calls in the evening with US team members. In certain scenarios, they will be required to support major releases and upgrades during US hours. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.QualificationsRequired Technical Skills RESTful API s - Deep understanding on coding standards related to service limits and data extraction. Google Big Query Understanding the architecture and methodologies for EDW designs, including best practices in cost control related to Big Query and supporting in-depth data analysis. Google Storage GIT Repository s Python Using python to extract data from API s and Google Storage, utilizing Google Cloud Functions for performance-oriented programming and asynchronous development. Google Cloud Functions Deployment and execution of cloud functions. (Python based) Google PubSub Understanding Subscriptions and Triggers Experience designing and delivering AnalyticalBusiness Intelligence ETL and data structures is required. Advanced SQL proficiency required. Experience with the Kronos Workforce Central or Kronos Workforce Dimensions platforms and Analytics applications and database structures is a plus. Workforce Management domain knowledge is a plus.,
