The diversity and breadth of the entire IBM portfolio of research, consulting, solutions, services, systems and software, uniquely distinguishes IBM India from other companies in the industry.Business Unit IntroductionThe IBM Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization spans several functional areas such as procurement, manufacturing, demand-supply planning, manufacturing engineering, logistics, customer fulfillment, accounts receivable collection and sales transaction support.Who you are:This position is responsible for processing requests, received in the Order Management (OM) queues, for the procurement of hardware, software and/or services. This includes reviewing requests for accuracy/completeness, processing requisitions into the appropriate procurement tools, updating the designated request tool with information related to the procurement of these requested items, tracking the order through delivery and providing on-going status.What youll do:

  • Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Requires clear, professional and effective communication skills for interaction with customer.
  • Required: Problem solving capability; ability to follow up with customers for approvals, track down issues with orders, track orders to completion
  • Once trained, must operate independently with guidance as needed

Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseAsset Management (or order management) Background preferred
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills, fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong Excel skills eg. Navigation, formatting, copy/paste, formula
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • 2-4 years work experience preferred.
  • Bachelor degree major in IT, Management, or English.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
  • General understanding of industry standard software vendors, and software contract Ts & Cs Software Asset Tracking & License Management experience Experience in supply chain business systems- SW license/Procurement/Order management Strong MS Excel skills eg. Navigation, formatting, formulas/functions, writing Macro using VBA. Ability to operate standard IBM intranet tools
