Come, transform with us.Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President Software DevelopmentRole will understand the key business drivers, help create an overall product development and work with the team to deliver critical milestones for the assigned products.Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating resources and processes to deliver software releases on time and with high quality
  • Working closely with Business operations in prioritizing and planning sprints/demos/releases etc.
  • Delivering on overall product vision and help come up with best engineering practices and continuous improvement.
  • Hire, nurture & manage engineering talent and build high-performance product engineering teams
Additional Knowledge/Experience/Education
  • At least 12+ years experience working through the design, development, release cycle and delivering software products to market
  • Minimum of 6 years of management/ leadership experience in a software development organization required
  • Strong hold in backend development and algorithms
  • Experience in building large scale system designs
  • Ability to pick-up any new programing language / frame-work / technology stacks
  • Strong hold in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
  • 5+ years as developer or sr. developer with Java, .Net or any other object-oriented programing language
  • A record of successful delivery of software applications as individual, team leader and/or development manager
  • Excellent understanding of cloud/SaaS like AWS, Azure, Google cloud, Salesforce.com.
  • High level understanding of BigData, AI, Machine Learning and other next-generation technology trends
  • Working with enterprise product development in BFSI or F&A domain. Knowledge of financial domain preferable
  • Leadership, technical program management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of entire PDLC using Agile/Scrum and Experience with Continuous Integration, continuous development, build Automation, DevOps and QA automation.
  • Preferable if he has worked as a scrum master with global distributed teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Cultural sensitivity to work with US teams and customers
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/MCA/MTECH from premier engineering institutions
