The role requires working closely with the Barclays International/ Barclays UK Markets Finance team to support the cost management decision making process by providing high quality decision support, insight, performance reporting and analysis.The role holder will undertake tasks that cross SBU / Cluster and will produce regular analysis of key business issues to support the delivery of business strategy and performanceResponsible for improving existing processes, reports and controls whilst ensuring the flawless execution of BAU. Driving through efficiencies and process improvements standardising processes across SBU s where possibleWhat will you be doing Perform regular P&L reporting, flash, insightful management reporting, and other adhoc reports and analysis of high complexityPeriodic Expense reporting, Utilization reporting, Head Count and other business analytics.Manage critical month-end close deliverables.Establish innovative systems and procedures for handling data & reports and strive for automations / smart solutions for continuously process improvementsProvide financial analysis support to new projects/initiativesEnsure timely delivery on all Onshore deadlines/Internal reviewsConsolidation of Financials for various Market businessesConsolidation of various kind reports for Barclays International/ Barclays UK businesses.Budgeting & ForecastingBudgeting and ForecastingLead, Manage and Co-ordinate the Medium-Term plan (MTP) and Short Term Plan (STP/Budget), for the Transaction Cycle and its sub functionsPreparation of periodic Run Rate, and Outlook analysisFinancial ControlMaintenance and ownership of functional reporting structure within all the necessary systemsOversight of processing structure changes across the various Group HierarchiesPre month-end and month-end reviews of expense and accrualsOutlook ProcessSupport the creation and lead the financial analysis of the Outlook, Run Rate and R&Os process for the Transaction CycleCommunication of results through month-end financial review packs and meetingsReview and analysis of Outlook resultsWhat we re looking for:BP&A/CM background and experience a big plusStrong Excel & PowerPoint skillsWillingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolutionStrong interpersonal skills and excellent communicatorMBA/CA with hands on relevant experienceSkills that will help you in the role:Strong Systems skills,
