Job Description

*Inviting applications for the role of Associate Data Centre OperationAre you the one that we are looking for Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, email or in person.
  • Build/acknowledge, follow-up, call out and resolve incidents/service requests as per Service Desk procedures within allocated timelines
  • Ensure tickets are updated at all times until issues are resolved and communicate the progress to the end user client.
  • Resource should be open to work in US shift and open to shift rotation between afternoon and night shifts.
  • Keen to learn newer things related to technology and domain
  • Upbeat and hardworking to get results for business needs and personal growth in the area of technology and/domain knowledge
  • Perform hardware IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change and Dispose) activities.
  • Backup and image IT assets as per procedures.
  • Adhere to and enforce Security and Corporate policies related to usage of IT hardware/software.
  • Handle and supervise IT assets to ensure accurate inventory records and log updates to the configuration management database (CMDB).
  • Keep the work area and IT storage well organized and clutter free.
  • Perform ad-hoc/project-related tasks and additional responsibilities assigned by the Service Desk manager.Prepare and publish various IT reports on an ad-hoc and/or periodic basis.
  • Build and/or maintain/update technical Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents.
  • Collaborate closely while maintaining good working relationships with various internal/external IT teams and vendors.
  • Prioritize tasks, assignments and tickets to meet critical deadlines. Identify and suggest potential improvements on procedures and highlight potential issues or partner concerns to management.
