Job Description

    Position: Broadcast IT EngineerLocation: Noida, Delhi Experience: 3 to 4 Years CTC: Up to 6 LPA Vacancy: 1 Qualification: BE Electronics / IT / InstrumentationAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Broadcast IT Engineer to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure in a broadcasting environment. You will collaborate with broadcast engineers and technical teams to support broadcast workflows, streaming, and playout operations, ensuring reliable and high-quality content delivery.This role requires strong expertise in IT systems, networking, broadcast automation, and satellite communication technologies.Key Responsibilities
    • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure for broadcast, satellite, streaming, and online education setups.
    • Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking equipment, including servers, routers, switches, cameras, audio/video equipment, and graphics systems.
    • Ensure seamless workflows across signal distribution, encoding/decoding, automation, and playout systems.
    • Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.
    • Provide technical support to production and engineering teams.
    • Configure and manage satellite uplink and downlink operations (frequency coordination, modulation, power management).
    • Design and implement VSAT systems for satellite communication (antennas, modems, encoders, decoders).
    • Deploy and manage broadcast automation systems (playout servers, scheduling software, automation controllers).
    • Develop and maintain system documentation, diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Ensure compliance with broadcast IT security standards and best practices.
    • Stay updated with emerging broadcast & IT technologies and recommend upgrades.
    Required Skills & Competencies
    • Strong knowledge of broadcast technologies and IT systems.
    • Hands-on expertise with hardware, software, networking equipment.
    • Experience in satellite communication (uplink/downlink, VSAT).
    • Proficiency in broadcast automation & playout systems.
    • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Server administration and storage system knowledge.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
