Job Description

    IntroductionSpartan Technology Services and Solutions Private Limited is a subsidiary of IBM (International Business Machines) Corporation. IBM is a global brand and has its presence in 170 countries and operates through multiple locations across globe. Spartan Technology Services and Solutions Private Limited is an integral part of IBM Business Process Operations and is providing end to end services covering policy renewal, query resolution using TPA services to its clients in the Insurance industry while ensuring best in class quality for their clients and communities. The group has dedicated compliance experts focused on ensuring data security across all transaction and aspects of an organization.We are Continuous Improvement (CI) team supporting IBM BPO business globally. The primary objective of the CI team is to work with delivery team and to drive continuous improvement and Transformation agenda build for clients based on client and IBM priorities. Some of the key deliverables for the team is to reduce cost of operations by driving productivity improvement projects, projects to improve performance on other business outcome metrics, building lean Six Sigma DNA through conducting training, mentoring and certifying lean, YB and GB projects. CI team is also responsible for other initiatives like supporting new transitions to ensure performance management framework is created and operational, Visual Management on the floor, process operational risks assessment of critical processes by conducting FMEA or other process risks assessments and also, propose required controls.Your Role and Responsibilities
    • As a Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI) Team Leader , the person would be aligned to an insurance account and would be working with Account CI Lead for driving process improvements and transformation agenda for client
    • Work with delivery team across delivery centers and client to build and drive Transformation agenda for that client involving cluster of projects driving cost of operations and other business outcomes through E2E process re-engineering / automation
    • Responsible for delivering efficiency commitments to client
    • Building lean Six Sigma DNA by conducting lean / six sigma training, mentoring and certifying lean, YB and GB projects
    • Any short / medium term project or initiative(s) linked to business priorities
    Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    • 4-6 Years of relevant work experience in below mentioned areas
    • Certified lean / Six Sigma Black Belt from recognized organization / Institute
    • Able to create Dynamic Automated Reporting Solutions and dashboards using Excel, VBA, MS Access & SQL basis the requirements
    • Responsible for maintaining existing dashboard at Daily, weekly, MTD and YTD level and obtain signoffs
    • Ability to handle large unstructured data/Adhoc data analysis and share interpretations
    • Responsible for preparing Incentive and close the payouts each month
    • Recommends establishment of new or modified methods and procedures to improve overall content and completeness of information.
    • Ensure complete and in-depth business knowledge to better understand the business needs and ensure processes are scalable and flexible to meet future business needs.
    • Document and communicate status updates to team members and Management, Support the team with deliverables and very good data management skills.
    • Work independently on assigned project(s).
    • Take lead in updating/ coaching team on new updates. Can work on identifying process improvement opportunities/ Training needs and facilitating trainings.
    • Demonstrated the ability to be a Self -starter who can manage multiple priorities with minimum direction solutions
    • Demonstrated accountability and ownership to close any given task from start to end with accuracy
    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
    • Insurance Industry (pref. Life Insurance) background and knowledge of new business & U/W, Claims and Policy Admin processes
    • Skilled in Advance Excel, SQL, VBA & Power Point
    • Working directly with executive level leaders
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Good Interpersonal Skills
    • Business knowledge / acumen and quickly able to learn new things
    • Strong priority setting, initiative and follow-through
    • Minimum 4+ Years of MIS/Reporting Role Data Analytics Experience
    • Ability to document and create process maps/SOP to properly document Report s structure.
