*Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services.Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.5-8 years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role., *An opportunity exists to join the Oracle Linux and Virtualization Professional Services sales team. The role is focused on growing and developing the Global market by maximizing the Oracle Linux and Virtualization Professional Services revenues and margin.Reporting to the Professional Service s Practice Director, the chosen candidate has the opportunity to shape future business across the Global market. Individuals of a high caliber are sought to develop existing and new accounts.The chosen candidate will need to work closely with both the Oracle Sales Rep and Sales Consultants to grow professional service revenues; equally important will be the ability to drive proactive professional service engagements into installed base accounts and beyond.Proactive identification, qualification and maximization of professional service opportunities for Oracle Linux and Virtualization globally.Strong sales ability, influencing and value-based selling capability, identification of the appropriate Oracle Professional service Value Proposition and interpretation to the prospective client(s).Generating proposals either as part of a license led opportunity or proactively for professional service.Working closely with the Professional Service s Practice Director contributing to the go to market strategyGenerating, communicating and delivering the necessary sales documentation i.e. budgetary estimates, ordering document, and exhibit sManaging the bid process for professional service proposalsAccurately forecasting against plans and targetsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in the designated accountsMonitoring the delivery of professional service business once won to ensure clients remain satisfiedActing as a point of escalation and resolutions for unresolved client issuesPro-actively updating industry and product knowledgeBe comfortable engaging at all levels within customers and partner organizations.Translate customer requirements and IT strategies into deliverable solutions and transformation plans.Develop proposals to satisfy customer s professional service needs.Define statements of work that include all the customers project requirements needed to successfully complete the project and define the accurate amount of time required to complete the project.Support and develop existing customer and partner relationships and skillsPromote the value of future professional service to the customerExcellent communication and presentation skills over phone, email, webcast, video and public conference.Flexibility to work in different shifts for all regions of the world.Proficient in communicating with stakeholders in business English.
