Job Description

    ResponsibilitiesHelp plan field test campaigns and process/clean/merge/analyze extensive field data to understand system limitations and develop solutions.Develop algorithms to improve accuracy of altitude system.Support implementation and deployment to the device or cloud.Develop strong domain expertise with current and next-generation barometric sensor product lines and their implementation in NextNav solution.Desired Skills & Experience Required: Masters degree with 2 years experience, or PhD in engineering disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or sciences such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, or another closely related field.Strong analytical skills, with a solid foundation in statistics and data processing, including data reduction, regression, automation, and visualization.Hands-on experience in a lab/field environment with data collection and processing.Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Python, R, MatLab, etc.Proficiency in one or more of the following databases: Postgres, PostGIS, SQL, etc.Ability to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments, including hardware and software.Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teams. Preferred: Strong scientific coding skills, including expertise in one or more of the following: Python, R, MatLab, SQL, etc. Expertise with object-oriented languages such as Java or C++ a bonus.Some experience in previous product engineering role, with track record of proven results.Familiarity with technology standards such as 3GPP and scientific standards bodies such as NIST.,
