Job Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Review of documents for accuracy and ensure owners are made aware of inadequaciesReview of diagrams for accuracy and ensure owners are made aware of inadequaciesAssessing automated alerting checks and thresholds to improve targeted service levelsAssist in recurring maintenance activities for system updates and security activitiesAssist in asset collection and maintaining inventory of corporate assetsPreparing end-user devices and peripherals for new and existing employeesDeployment of applications and services to end-users as part of ongoing activitiesMaintaining internal user accounts and assisting in regular audits and reportsTroubleshooting end-user reported issues to the best of your ability and escalate whenneeded to the appropriate resourceOn-Call rotation where the user will be required to acknowledge alerts generated bymonitoring system. This includes installation of incident management application forpush notificationsContribute to a Tier 1 support group and collaboratively work to resolve escalated issuesand incidents that may occurActively acknowledge tickets generated in support portal or create tickets by userssubmitting incident via phoneMinimalQualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent 2 years of related previous professional experienceAdequate knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systemsAdequate knowledge of Microsoft end-user products and tools Working knowledge of change management processEfficient time management skills identifying and prioritizing tasksPreferred Competencies:Automation tools patch management, configuration managementOperating Systems Windows Server 2016, Centos 7, Windows 10Compliance log aggregation, SIEM, auditing solutioning Security anti-virus, anti-malware, intrusion detection Hardware Dell, EMC, CiscoServices LDAP, IIS, Load Balancer, SQL, SSO, containerizationTechnologies Azure, AWS
