DGM / GM ProcurementRole & responsibilitiesKey SkillsBudget management, Planning & Coordination, Team Management, Vendor development & management, Inventory Management, SCM, Procurement, Export/import, Documentation, Compliances, Process orientationKey DeliverablesSupply Chain ManagementProduction planning, supply planning and inventory controlInteracting with Coordinating with cross-functional departments for ascertaining procurement plans of raw materials; ensuring that the raw material reach the factory at the stipulated timeLogistics and distribution planning for cost effective routeProcurement planning for key RM and PM, to secure timely supplies of critical componentsCapex & Opex requirement, Logistic, StoreFacilitating negotiations for long term contractsDeveloping and implementing key strategies for the purchase of materials from sources; achieving cost reduction in procurement and packaging; receiving indent, floating inquiry, quotation, controlling negotiation, taking approval and placing orderImport & Export of material from Multiples Source of material, with supervision of documentation and compliance ownership aligned to Exim policy and procedure.Forecasting materials using both constant and trend models, with special consideration to future consumption; developing and implementing key procurement strategies & ensuring they are aligned with statutory requirementsAnnual Budget & Cost-conscious approach.Responsible for preparing Annual/Monthly Plans and Budgeting for Supply Chain & Logistics Operations and submission to BoDs for approvalDeveloping and executing sourcing strategies for expenditure CAPEX/OPEX and managing supplier relationships (including current and new vendor qualification audits)Effectuating cost-saving initiatives by introducing advanced planning, process technology and substituting processes by use of alternate materials; developing new suppliersEnsuring optimum level use of inventory as a production planProcess ImprovementResponsible for process improvements as well as development of innovative system to measure & monitor different aspects of business-like supply chain efficiency, total employee involvement and tact time enhancement.Risk &Mitigation planFormulating SCM plans for smooth execution of projects within time & cost parameters, developing alternate sources, mitigating supply risk and assisting in negotiating supply agreements with strategic and critical suppliers.Vendor Development &ManagementDeveloping vendors for better price, quality, delivery &increased volumes and identifying alternate vendorsIdentifying &developing potential vendors / suppliers for achieving cost effectiveness; assessing performance of the vendors based on their competitiveness, reaction capabilities, and so onIf interested, Please share your updated CV - (hidden_email) / can call on hidden_mobile / hidden_mobile
