Job Description

    A. Role Documenti. Pre-qualification for new business segments Identification of segments with potential & key players in each of those Opening doors with such players and getting ESBS enlisted for upcoming opportunities Working with Proposal Engineering, Estimation & Sales to get the first successful saleii. Market scouting and quantum opportunity creation in segments identified in strategy Market scanning & identification of opportunities based on customers investment plans Enhancing awareness ratio (tenders received to market opportunities) Early engagement with customer and ESBS enlistment for those projects Passing on the lead to sales when it gets converted into firm opportunityiii. Sectoral tie-ups with segment leaders Identification of technology leaders for specific segments Working to achieve position of preference with such segment leaders Working with Proposal Engineering, Estimation & Sales to get the first successful saleiv. Spear-heading CRM implementation & admin Ensuring CRM is the sole database for all sales related activities Administering CRM on behalf of sales Implementation of new modules in CRM/ CRM revamp leadershipv. MIS related to sales Monthly MIS related to sales comprising of awareness ratio, bid ratio, conversion ratio Market share analysis by segment, geography, customer type and size Conscience keeper for sales in respect of alignment with strategy and analyticsvi. Leading collateral & presentation preparation, digital marketing initiatives Keeping all collaterals & presentations updated Ensuring stage wise photographs of each project built with proper permissions Preparing new collaterals & presentations as required by sales Managing digital marketing initiatives for ESBS with external agencies and assessingeffectivenessvii. Event management Leading event management activities for ESBS across segments & geography, includingvendor management, stall management, event presence, and visitor management Managing spends within budget and assessing effectiveness of each event participatedB. Experience15-25 years experience in various Sales roles encompassing the above Demonstrated ability to analyze markets and identify trendsC. QualificationsBE Mech/ Civil or any graduate with MBA in Sales & marketing with a flair for analysis Knowledge of Steel industry & PEB will be an added advantageD. Soft skillsVery strong communication skills Willingness to learn the industry ropes and do hands-on work and analysis Result orientation Strong Inter-personal skills Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint essential with ability to generatereports, charts and presentationsE. Other elementsCandidate to be from B2B industry Base location Mumbai with extensive travel to sites, customers & stake-holders offices Good working knowledge of English, with ability to converse in Hindi
