The ideal candidate will have a. strong background in technology leadership, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple products and teams.Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction to our engineering department, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and solutions. Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Drive the development and execution of our technology roadmap, aligning it with our business goals and objectives. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to define and implement the overall engineering strategy and vision. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance microservices and high-transaction systems. Leverage your expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, to optimize our infrastructure and ensure seamless scalability and reliability. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, prioritize feature development, and deliver exceptional user experiences. Engage with large enterprise customers in a B2B environment, leveraging your experience to address their unique requirements and deliver value-added solutions. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and apply them to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 18 years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. Proven experience leading multiple product development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment. Strong knowledge and expertise in microservices architecture and designing high-transaction systems. Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including infrastructure setup, optimization, and scalability. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Previous experience working with large enterprise customers in a B2B environment is highly desirable. Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technical initiatives with organizational goals and customer needs.
