Job Description

    Job Role: The Field Quality Assurance Specialist will solve complex challenges with last mile delivery in their assigned territory, and should be able to work with operations Managers, and external property managers and customers to gather correct geospatial data to enable defect reduction.FQAs support collecting relevant address information at problematic addresses such as a delivery locations operating hours, access codes, delivery hints, and more.The individual in this position will identify, design, and deliver process improvement solutions for various customer experience initiatives, designed to improve Amazons ability to deliver directly to customers through its network of 3rd party vendors.Responsibilities: Navigate using GPS along a route of addresses provided daily; Track specific Geo Codes (include explanation of what a geo code is) for addresses using the on-road application. Verify and collect geocodes, business hours, access codes and delivery instructions for assigned addresses and update records as needed using the provided application. Use the assigned tools to effectively manage time and complete daily route. Observe deliveries in the field to identify barriers to first-time delivery success; recommend solutions and improvements to Amazons systems and processes. Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company in a positive manner on road.This includes but not limited to reporting any accidents, driving violations, change in license and /or insurance requirements Adhere to the Vehicle Code of Conduct. Use logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills while validating the properties data. Communicate with internal and external partners. Requirements:Good verbal and written communication.Working knowledge of the local language is desirable.Should be compatible with operating smartphone and laptop Able to drive a vehicle and should hold valid permanent drivers license. Experience in parcel delivery environment preferred, with local market/geographic expertise.Preferrable: Should have basic understanding of the defects and geospatial data such as geocodes, business hours, access codes. Evidence of ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadlines.Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction and strategy. Desire to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment with minimal direct supervision.Customer service skills to effectively communicate with internal and external partners. Able to drive up to, but not limited to the full duration of your scheduled shift.FQAs Daily Activities: 1. 2. Login for the day and report to your manager.Login to the easel portal and check for the route.If route is not updated, contact your POC/Manager. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Scroll through all the stops visible in the route. Plan an optimum travel plan based on your area knowledge to cover all the stops in the route. Physically visit the addresses, collect the related data, talk with property manager if required. Update all the data on the easel app with photos wherever required. Follow the program SOP strictly. Avoid any act of verbal/physical conflict with anyone while visiting the properties.Reach out to your manager in case of any blockers or escalations.Try to cover all the stops shown in the route on same day. At the EOD, submit the daily report to the manager about the no. of visits and pending stops count
