Job Description

Responsible for Performance test delivery of projects for quality and engineering requirements.Work with systems development teams to validate the performance of the product delivered to the stakeholders as per requirement.Responsible for developing the Performance Test plan ensuring it is updated and base lined to reflect changes to the project risk profile, schedule, testing processes etc.Assessing the impact of changes on testing and providing feedback to the programme of impact analysisWhat will you be doing

  • Initiate and drive communications across teams to collect performance requirements, NFRs, etc. and analyse them to generate various artefacts like Test strategy, Test Plan, Work Load Model, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Completion Report, etc.
  • Reviews the Test Environment Specification and Coordinates with the Test Environment Manager
  • Design and carry out performance tests as per plan and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for perform analysis of test outcomes, identify and report performance issues, provide recommendations to resolve performance issues.
  • Implement innovative and creative methods for testing with Test Program RAIDS identified, maintained regularly and mitigated.
  • Alignment to defect management process for the programme ensuring the process is followed and correct priorities / severities are assigned.
What we re looking for:
  • Performance testing tools Performance Center, LoadRunner. Protocols Web HTTP/HTML, Web Services
  • Monitoring/Profiling tools AppDynamics, CA Introscope.
  • In depth understating on application performance analysis, identifying performance issues, providing recommendations to in order to resolve performance issues and improve the performance.
  • Understanding of stubbing or simulating end points and when to use. Ability to write custom code wherever standard functions/tools not available.
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Exposure to performance testing of Contact Center systems like IVR, Chatbots, etc., AWS and cloud hosted applications, Performance optimization for cloud.
  • Monitoring/Profiling tools JProfiler, JMC, JVisual VM, etc. Knowledge on performance metric collection on UNIX systems. Languages C, C++, Java. Databases Oracle, MS SQL Server
  • Performance Engineering AWR analysis, GC, Heap & Thread dump analysis
  • Knowledge on capacity planning and sizing practices.
