Job Description

*Purpose:Manage and lead entire gamut of HR activities including talent acquisition, learning & development, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee engagement, HR policies and necessary compliances. Specific Responsibilities

  • Business Support
  1. While understanding Power and Water Solutions (PWS) business liase closely with the Global Engineering Center (GEC) Leadership and global business leaders to form effective HR strategies
  2. Understand PWS thrust areas and plan tailored HR actions to support business drive these
  • Talent Acquisition
  1. Responsible for attracting, motivating and retaining the best talent
  2. Ensure hiring plans are tailored to meet the business requirement keeping special attention on growth areas; turbine solutions, digital transformation, process optimisation, renewable energy, electrical control and retrofit projects
  3. Partnership with universities through Internship programs, campus activities, students visit to GEC and CSR activities
  • Performance Management System
  1. Work with the business to ensure KRA and objective alignment across the organization, ensuring that the KRAs and objectives are set in a timely manner
  2. Ensure robust feedback mechanism through the year including structured mid year and year end reviews
  3. Develop a roadmap for the performance management process and ensure that it is timely completed
  • Compensation & Benefits
  1. Market surveys to keep abreast with the prevailing compensation & benefit trends in the industry and benchmark vis a vis our compensation and benefits
  2. Work on the salary proposal for GEC every year to be submitted to the BU for approval
  • Learning & Development
  1. Ensure Individual Development Plans (IDPs) are created for all employees and work with the leadership team on timely completion of the development areas
  2. Ensure training calendar is in place based on the trainings identified through IDPs
  3. Drive programs targeted at competency enhancement trainings leveraging Corporate L&D and other external/ internal resources
  • HR Policy & Compliance
  1. Benchmark the Company policies with best in the industry and ensure the same is communicated across the across the organization, addressing any queries that are there
  2. Ensure 100% compliance on labour laws and file returns
  • Succession Plan
  1. Ensure that succession plan is ready for all key positions/faces to watch in GEC
  2. Work closely on the Org review process with the BU and Automation Solution India team
  • Employee Engagement
  1. Develop an Employee Engagement model for effective engagment with Employees
  2. Work with recreation team to plan and make arrangements for upcoming festivals, sports events, family day, food festivals, Kids Day in office etc.
  3. Work with HR initiative teams on employee engagement and process enhancement initiatives
  4. Partner with the HSE team to ensure safe work enviornment for all employyes, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Others
  1. Review MIS reports and HR dashboard on monthly basis
  2. Excellent knowledge of HR systems

  • Masters Degree in Human Resources with minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
