Organise own work as per project schedule, workflow, and briefs. Carry out a range of editorial tasks as and when required, for example: Research subject matter to ensure factual accuracy and depth. Edit copies in accordance with a projects editorial style guide. Collaborate with designers to produce spreads with editorially accurate and relevant visual content. Proofread pages in accordance with a projects editorial style guide. Maintain excellent communication channels with entire book team, as well as external parties for the duration of a project. Help timely delivery and quality control of new print and digital products for global trade markets. Required skills: Excellent editorial aptitude and attention to detail. Good grasp of the English language, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and handle a varied workload. Flexibility and enthusiasm to take on tasks. Desired candidate profile: Qualification - Bachelors or Masters degree in English or Journalism from an institute of repute. Experience - 2 to 5 years of experience (preferably in publishing/ media).
