Job Description

Human Capital Management Software Engineer - Manual Testing

American EPAY Services Pvt. Ltd., a growing SaaS provider of human capital management solutions, is seeking an exceptional Software engineer with a strong aptitude to work at our Noida office. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a software testing professional to join a highly entrepreneurial, collaborative organization that is looking to become a leader in the manual testing domain in the Human Capital Management (HCM) space.

The ideal candidate will Extensive knowledge in the software manual & database testing and having decent exposure in the automation testing.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or Master of Computer Applications from an accredited institution, having consistent academic results (60% or above)
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in testing, having done projects in a mix of desktop and web - based applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure while resolving critical issues
  • Applicants having notice period of one month or less would be preferred.

Duties:

  • Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well - structured test cases & scripts.
  • Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
  • Execute planned testing tasks & report defects and provide timely and accurate analysis of findings.
  • Prepare all reports related to testing carried out.
  • Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
  • Work closely with the development team and within QA team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues.
  • Participate in product functional reviews, test specifications, documentation review
  • Communicate effectively all the findings with Reporting manager.
  • Utilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of problems
  • Demonstrates ability to multi - task and re - prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements (such as urgent customer problems).
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Works with the reporting manager to understand the testing of specific connector. Test different aspects of connector like functional testing, non - functional testing (performance, stress, longevity etc.). Test connector both on UI and run time aspects. Participate in daily sprint discussions and provide updates
