Job Description

Mission Ensure operational excellence by implementing a process to continuously monitor and improve performance.Responsibility The engineer should be fluent in the various voice signaling protocols, to include ISDN, SS7 (ISUP, TCAP), and SIP (SIP, SDP, RTP). Fault Management of any 2 of the following platforms: 5ESS, DMS, DCO, EWSD, Ericsson AXE Level 2 Fault management of 5ESS, DMS, DCO, EWSD, Ericsson AXE Troubleshooting Switch fault, diagnostics and resolution of faults. Troubleshoot basic translation issues using translations verification tests, test lines, and signaling applications. Responsible for Outage Management Process by defining High-Impact outages,scheduling technical calls, activating management notification and escalation process. Emergency Handling and chronology preparation. Technical discussion on outage recovery and providing root cause analysis. Coordinating with OEM Support team for handling resolved cases Ensuring Post check of activities done during MW period Preparation of script and Impact analysis for changes that needs to be done in core nodes Ensuring proper closure of tickets from region and cross functional teams Preparation and maintenance of reports as per requirement. Minimum 8-10 years of telecommunications experience in complex voice switching networks. Bachelor or above in telecom, computer, electronic engineering, etc.,
