Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.An experienced Infrastructure and IaaS Developer professional who has a broad knowledge and experience of operating systems and cloud infrastructure technologies. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.Desired Profile:Good understanding of computer science fundamentals i.e. Operating System, Databases, computer architecture, computer networking, Unix/Linux/Windows Programming, Shell Programming, , Java, PERL, SQL etc.Expertise building automated frameworks and solutions using languages such as Python, PERL, or other programming and scripting tools.Exposure to automation tools and technologies, Source Control systems. Good Automation Framework knowledge. Good Knowledge of REST, JSON, and Security in those areasExperience using configuration tools (such as Chef) to automate systems deployment and management.Experience in container technologies and working with software deployments in Docker / Containerized environments.Broad technical background in infrastructure and applicationsHands-on experiences with any of these CI/CD tools: Jenkins or Teamcity.Experience in next generation orchestration-based scheduling systems such as kubernetes are a plus.Strong technical knowledge in networking.Documentation and communication skillsCompetency or familiarity with enterprise application architectures and internetworking conceptsCompetency in networking, database, firewall, web servers (Apache), load balancersKey Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of internal deployment projects and work closely with the internal teams on status, issues and communications.Responsible as the Infrastructure expert for formulating and supporting presales technical support to prospective clients.Clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles and automate wherever and whenever the possibility arises.Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.End-to-end tuning needs, optimizing resource utilization, as load patterns fluctuate.Scaling requirements and recoverability, ensuring that backup / restore and disaster recovery capabilities are implemented, tested and maintained.,
