JD:Cause an effect at IHS MarkitInterest Rate Benchmarks Operations Analyst in Multiple LocationsInterest Rate Benchmarks Operations AnalystFrankfurt, Friedrich - Tower 185 | NoidaIHS Markit Index Operations is looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our benchmark operations team. The candidate will hold responsibility for the support and maintenance of financial data, benchmark calculations and publication within the established service level agreements. This role requires previous experience in and familiarity with financial markets and particularly with interest rates and interest rate derivatives. The candidate will be required to support, and in some cases oversee, the daily benchmark calculations. This includes ensuring that underlying data is available and is of excellent quality, calculating and disseminating the benchmark data within strict calculation time frames, and in assuring full operational compliance with benchmark methodologies and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus with the understanding of the sensitivity and importance of the benchmarks for end clients. Responsibilities:Benchmark Calculations & Processing Ensure accurate calculation of the benchmarks via the execution of daily production procedures and controls while operating within strict deadlines and in accordance to regulatory requirements and industry best practice. Quality Assurance Define, refine and perform quality assurance procedures to eliminate sources of potential errors and ensure the delivery of high- quality benchmarks to the market and to clients. Product Enhancements - Identify enhancements and efficiencies that could be created through the development of additional tools, workflow and process improvements. Participate in the full life cycle of these enhancements by defining requirements, testing the changes and supporting the implementation. Client Support Liaise with internal teams to assist in support of clients. Assist in the resolution of incoming client queries. Fully understand the business- critical service levels to consistently meet agreed service levels. Partnership Build and maintain strong relationships within the immediate team and other stakeholders. Business Knowledge Develop an excellent understanding of our benchmark methodologies, underlying data required to calculate the benchmarks and they ways in which the benchmarks are used by clients and other market participants. Interpret and appropriately model complex index methodologies. Understand the technical tools that support the creation and calculation of the benchmarks. Vendor Relationships Manage vendor requests and escalations directly with vendors. ,
