WAN Solution Designer is responsible for service design including technical design, functionality, configuration, performance and quality of WAN solutions. This is a global position for enabling the upcoming IT Digitalization by preparing the Network ready for transformations including:- Aligns the solutions with the IT Infrastructure Architecture and Nokia IT Security requirements- Designed solutions must meet Nokia business requirements and be deployable and supportable by service providers- Coordinates solution provisioning and deployment by WAN connectivity service providers- Manages the design of WAN Connectivity solutions, guides the IT service providers technical solution team, performs the necessary acceptance and assures the quality after the implementation for the solution- Cooperation with Nokia Cyber Security, Business Stakeholders, IT Infrastructure Architects and Service Owner- She/He performs and validates requirements analysis, prepares demand requests to providers and evaluates technical solution proposals from the service providers- Participates in the preparation of project proposals, the project business case and in the implementation of projects- Bachelors degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent- Minimum of 8-10+ years experience in Network services, deep knowledge of and management in complex environment- Deep level understanding to review network designs/configurations provided by suppliers to prepare reference architecture for the enterprise network- Good understanding on network technologies TCP/IP, TCP/IP Flow control, UDP, HSRP / VRRP / GLBP, DNS, ARP, HTTP, SSL, STP, Trunking, & Port Channelling, VRF, IPsec and TLS;- Understanding and experience with Internet routing protocols such as: OSPF, BGP- Hands-on experience in WAN routing protocols, WAN architecture deployment and support- Expertise level in handling complex routing design, routing issue with multi-vendor environment- Experience in IPv6 WAN routing architecture and deployment expertise- Previous experience of understanding and solving independently complex issues related to WAN services, including enterprise wired and wireless network, firewalls, virtualization, load balancing, traffic management and WAN routing, and drive those to resolution with service providers- Requirement gathering experience- Understanding of ITIL processes- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English- Eager and capable to work in a global multi-cultural team and to develop him/her self- Strong customer focus- Drive to deliver results, get things done attitude,
