Job Description

  • Mainly responsible for the local modifications and development, and trials and field support, testing of cement and concrete products for the respective regions.
  • Understand the technical request sent by the sales team.
  • Visit the existing formulation bank and check any of the products will meet the above requirements. This shall be done with the support of Regional Manager C and C, PSM and Technical Manager- cement and concrete.
  • After deciding the tentative formulation for the above requirements, concrete trials needs to be done to verify the same.
  • To carry out the concrete trials, field RMs to be arranged in co- ordination with the sales team and Concrete Technologist. If required competitor samples to be arranged from different job sites across respective regions to bench mark the same.
  • Sourcing of potential RMs or arranging the required RMs from the respective factories and maintain sufficient inventory of RMs.
  • Developing or modifying the existing cement and concrete products, either proactively or against BSON OR TSRrsquos.
  • Testing of developed products initially at the companys lab, after establishing the product techno commercially at lab level and final trials or demonstration either at Job site and/ or at third partys lab etc. as appropriate.
  • Arranging physical, chemical and Performance Test Certificate internally and externally.
  • Testing of Raw materials.
  • Any other additional task agreed with the line Manager.
