Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Backend Developer In this role, we are looking for a back-end Developer who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, tackle problems, and build a more seamless experience for users. Should have excellent communication, and project management skills. In addition, should be passionate about building a better, more efficient program and crafting a better end-user experience. Should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated. Responsibilities In this role, you would be responsible for

  • Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and craft more functional, cohesive codes to improve the user experience.
  • Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
  • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on standard methodologies, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
  • Taking lead on projects, as needed
Qualifications we seek in you
  • Minimum Education: B.A. or B.S. degree in related subject area or equivalent experience
  • Experience detailing technical requirements.
  • Proficient at multitasking and proactive in work responsibilities.
Preferred qualifications
  • Strong core Java background with experience working in Collections, Multithreading, Data Structure & Algorithm.
  • Good knowledge of Java/J2EE web application technology stack (Core Java, Spring core, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST, JSON, XML)
  • Solid understanding on object-oriented JavaScript, AJAX, HTML 5, CSS Modules
  • Sound knowledge on one or more chosen frameworks/libraries like UI Bootstrap or jQuery
  • Creating custom, general use modules and components that extend the elements and modules of core Angular
  • Knowledge on engines (jQuery, jQueryUI)
  • Ability to integrate existing APIs (REST/SOAP)
  • Working Knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries (Oracle, Sybase etc.)
