Job Description

Lead Consultant - GOlang DeveloperIn this role, you would be responsible forWe are looking for an experienced hands-on Software Engineer who will lead the technical aspects of designing, implementing, testing of various initiatives. As a senior backend engineer, you will be working in Middle Office Core Platform Organization to drive product development and modernization initiatives. You are builder and have deep understanding of tools and technologies to build products that delivers business outcomes and obsess about customer. You will be responsible for designing and programming a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze, design and develop software solutions to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical personnel/vendors to facilitate enterprise software integration.
  • Work on different software development life cycle phases and serve as a technology resource and representative for the department.
  • Create technical documentation for software (design documents, handbooks, etc.).
  • Perform code review and design review to ensure compliance with development standards.
  • Assist with developing automated test cases and test plans for software.
  • Review software requirements documentation for projects and enhancements
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum qualifications
  • Bachelor s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Strong proficiency in either GO or Java.
Preferred Qualifications/ skills
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and coding principles
  • Hands-on experience in microservices architecture and development, Databases such as Oracle MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
  • Strong experience in one of following languages (Java, GO) and learn new language
  • Experience in ServiceMesh, Containers and Kubernetes technologies
  • Hands-on experience in building cloud-based software leveraging cloud and open source technology and frameworks
  • Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
  • Experience in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices
  • Be an expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and can implement them using language of choice
  • Deep understanding and experience in one of the public clouds (AWS, Azure) native services
  • Experience in agile software development
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and team orientation.
  • Ability to carry out all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively
