Solid experience validating ARM based SOCs, good knowledge of processor architecture and instruction set. Strong experience in C programming language and Assembly Language. Good understanding of Key Peripherals: USB, Ethernet, DDR, PCIe, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, TIMERS, etc. Experience with drivers & stacks ( Video , graphics .) in linux/RTOS environment desirable. Experience validating Vision and Radar usecase accelerators and DSPs desirable. Excellent knowledge of microcontroller architecture and operating system concepts. Excellent engineering documentation skills, verbal communication, and presentation skills. Well organized, methodical, and detail oriented.Responsibilities: As a silicon and system software validation engineer within the automotive group, you will focus on carrying out validation for different subsystem / system on leading edge Automotive devices. Skilled use of various software tools and standard lab equipment is required. Work independently and provide technical direction for junior team members. Interface and support Design, Verification, Applications, Product and Test Engineering, Marketing, and other design organizations. Develop use-case scenarios and performance test plans for both subsystem and system level based on reference manual and end user requirements. Develop and improve automated setups , scripts and test coverage. Able to independently collect data , perform root cause analysis , debug the issues.,
