Job Description The Information Security Engineer will work within Client s Information Security team. Provide operational support of Client s Enterprise directory services and privilege identity management solutions. Services include Okta, Symantec VIP, Okta Single Sign-On, RADIUS, Managed PKI (mPKI), SSL Certificates and CyberArk Uses technical knowledge on number of security technologies to analyze and respond to changes requested by internal users Be able to perform changes on multiple security platforms in organized manner Monitor all security related alerts from various security platforms and technologies o Take appropriate actions based on alerts seen Would need to work with vendors in specific scenarios Also responsible for developing and documenting work processes and trains other members of the team Responsibilities: Support, troubleshoot, configure, manage, and upgrade Identity providers, Privilege Identity management and a wide variety of other security products. Reviews requests related to new application onboarding requests for Okta/SAML/OIDC/Oauth/Symantec VIP Reviews requests related SSL certificates and PKI lifecyle Reviews requests related to Privileged Accounts for privilege identity management Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems, using strong skills in Okta, Symantec VIP, SAML, OIDC, OAuth2.0, PKI, CyberArk Respond to inbound requests via phone and other electronic means for technical assistance Respond in a timely manner (within documented SLA) to configuration, maintenance, incident management, and other requests Document actions in ticketing system to effectively communicate information internally and to customers Respond to needs and questions of customers concerning their access to network resources through their managed device Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity problems independently and understand escalation procedures Assist in the maintenance and support of authentication and directory technologies used within Client, including OTP, RADIUS, Single Sign-on (SSO) and PKI Propose and implement improvements using industry best practices, standard procedures and effective change management Will interact with various engineering and corporate technology teams to maintain, support and resolve service issues. Create and maintain documentation and training to technology teams (Services Desk, Global Operation Center, Security Operation Center, Desktop Services, Desktop Engineering, Directory Services and Messaging) Would need to extract logs related to various platforms from Splunk Create custom documentation for internal needs Attend vendor-specific meetings and conferences for business and professional development Perform other duties as assigned Ability to work in 24x7 environment Qualifications Experience with Identity provider solutions like Okta [preferred] Strong understanding of various Authentication/Authorization standards - SAML, OIDC, OAuth Sound understanding of PKI Infrastructure Strong understanding of privilege identity management solutions like CyberArk [preferred] Practical expertise with TCP/IP networking required Experience with standard encryption protocols such as: SSL, IPSec, TLS and SSH Network and system administration experience in desktop, server and cloud environments. Familiarity with authentication technologies including Single Sign-on (SSO), ADFS, SAML, One-time Password (OTP), RADIUS, Kerberos and Smartcards Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Possession of excellent team collaboration skills Exposure to Enterprise Logging and Monitoring solutions required Splunk Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in applicable technologies field is required. Skills and knowledge must be kept current, including ongoing active pursuit of certifications Significant experience with Linux, Windows and MAC Operating Systems required Requires taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services Requires interfacing with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner Solid understanding of information security required Extensive experience interacting with customers required Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills required A passion for information security and data security required Detail oriented with strong organization skills required Customer service focus required with strong interpersonal skills including excellent written/verbal communication skills Will be required to be on-call after hours and weekends on a rotating basis May be required to work occasional off-shift hours to cover customer maintenance and on-site activities Ability to work independently and as a team member to solve difficult technical challenges on a global scale Desired Experience in automating operational tasks via languages such as Python, Java, etc. Evaluate upgrades and new products in a lab environment for use in the enterprise Experience with log aggregation tools such as Splunk and building dashboards, monitors and automating notifications and remediation.,
