Job Description

Actively lead requirements gathering with internal customers to usher projects from early design stage through finished state for delivery to external customers.Monitors product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal or external customer on technical matters.Establish day-to-day operational objectives, organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budgetconstraints.Manages change control, priority change. Assesses program issues and areas of risk and takes action to work with internal teams to resolve all problems.Gain an in-depth understanding of product quality goals as well as customer success responsiveness measurements. Monitor and assure product/program/project compliance.Evolve as a go to internal expert proficient in all internal tools, systems, processes and techniques used in R&D organization to monitor and measure quality goals.Interacts with senior management and executives on several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Identifying risks and clearly communicate goals, results to project stakeholders.Conducts team meetings, documents issues, and proactively keeps stakeholders informed of program status and health.Projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and PM is accountable to keep all the players coordinated on projects progress and deadlines.Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets.Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies which affect immediate operation(s) that may have company-wide effect. In-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, as well as an understanding of company politics policies Implements strategic policies when selecting techniques, methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Ensure assure adherence to product goals, schedules, work plans as well as performance measurements with a view that erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) and may jeopardize overall business activitiesMinimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a software/hardware product environment
  • Understand software development lifecycle. This knowledge does not need to be completely hands-on, but at a level of understanding required to manage development tasks and identify and resolve issues in development projects as they arise.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Chinese fluently and idiomatically.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Be empathetic and enthusiastic.
  • Able and ready to travel to US/Europe 2-3 times per year for internal meetings.
Preferred qualifications:Project management certification - PMP (or CAPM certified and working on PMP certification).Prior hands on experience working with R&D teams in program or project management role.Ability in working with cross-functionally and multi-cultural teams on daily basis.Enjoy problem solving, attention to details and willingness to go above and beyond to chase down loose endsEnjoy understand details of internal processes, systems and willing to challenge status quo to identify areas for improvement and drive those changes.Good leadership skills to provide clear guidance to other teams for day-to-day operations.,
