Job Description

Your Role and Responsibilities As Linux System Administrator, you are responsible for performing installation, Configuration & operation, recovery and performance tuning in various flavors of Unix Servers.   • Modify Platform automation and support Script
  • Develop and modify application Failover Scripts
  • Proven experience in Clustering activities like Redhat, Veritas Cluster or SUN Cluster
  • Install, configure, upgrade automated Security health checking client and support Level 4 automated Security health checking client
  • Install, Configure, Upgrade -
  • Automated Patch management client and support Level 4 automated Patch management client
  • Enterprise Automation Client Software and support Level 4 Enterprise Automation Client Software
  • Hardware Monitoring Client Software and support Level 4 Hardware monitoring Client Software
  • Upgrade Electronic Software Distribution Client Software and support Level 4 Electronic Software Distribution Client Software.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 8 years total experience in IT Industry
  • Proven experience in Installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning.
  • Expertise to install, configure and upgrade device drivers along with capability to plan and execute Unix Security.
  • Proficiency to configure High Availability Clustering environment, High Availability Storage Devices, High Availability Network Devices.
  • Ability perform in a 24 x 7 Environment.
  • Working knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Unix - HP Unix Operating Systems (Hardware, Software)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to process (ITIL)
  • Added experience in Cluster, SUSE, and GPFS will be an advantage.
  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
