Assistant Vice President, Tool RoomLocation: NoidaReporting Relationship: Managing DirectorCompany Background: Our client is a leader in the automotive component manufacturing industryResponsibilities:Finalize long term plans for Tool Engineering Centre (Tool Room function), in line with organizational objectives Development of Technology & Competency builds up Roadmaps for TEC and execution thereof Finalize annual plans and budget for Tool Room function Regularly monitor target achievement and budget utilization for Tool Room function Planning, Design, Manufacturing, Assembly & testing (try out) of In house Molds tools, jigs & fixtures Ensure Tool design Feasibility, Concept designing, Tool Designing, Drawing release & CAM programming for Plastic Injection Mold, Sheet Metal Die, PDC Die, JFT, Special Purpose Machines Procurement of tools and jigs & fixtures that are not feasible / viable to be developed in house Identify long term technology needs of the company via Benchmarking and customer requirements Coordination with vendors in order to develop new tools for emerging needs of the customer in a proactive manner Competency Building: Planning for people / Tool Room Team competency buildup Risk Management of Tool Room Compliance control of management policies & procedures, TS, EMS, OHSAS Meet the customer targets on QCDD, undertake resource planning and resource development and support problem solving on current / potential issues Candidate Profile:B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering + M. Tech in Production Engineering + Specialization in Tool Making Atleast 18- 20 years of industry experience with more than 5 yearsexperience in a similar role Press Tool experience is preferred Product technology, process technology, process planning Quality standards Die Casting Dies, Injection Mould Dies, Press Tool Dies, JFT, GD&T Tool Manufacturing setup PLM CAD / CAE / CFD APQP/ PPAP with emphasis on DFMEA/ PFMEA Strategic orientation Team leadership and capability build up Managing stakeholders Change management Pressure handling Target orientation Interested, click here,
