Key Job DutiesTo be responsible for material management (including tools and lifting equipment) , the receiving, check, recording and trace-ability of all material and certificates.To issue any supply non-conformity and follow-up the relevant resolution.To collect all the documents and certification covering the arrival of materials at site, ensure establishment by contractor of quarantine system for defective material.To coordinate, control, follow their movements and good receipt and provide recording, advise teams when delivering material and re-enforce the coordination for particular delivery.To work closely with contractor to improve all aspects of material, tools and lifting activities.To Follow the reception, inspection, storage, marking and preservation of materials delivered at Yard, including lifting equipment.To review material management procedures issued by contractor.To ensure contractors personnel have sufficient training and experience to use safely the material, tools and lifting equipment.To manage information relevant to arrival of materials at site in line with project schedule and anticipate any shortage, delay issues for offshore deliveries by taking acts with any actors on the transverse flow (Procurement, Freight Forwarding, Warehouse Receipt team, QC inspector(s), Preparation teams for outbound delivery).To initiate for re-certification, re-calibration, test for specific equipment (pressure gauges, valves) by Third party/Vendor or cable cuttings if need.To coordinate the offshore material returns / surplus materials and Warehouse Material Controller for the dispatch (to storage, to UNFIT bins, to Vendors).
