Job Description

Job Description Purpose:The job holder is a key member of a team responsible for Risk Assessment of proposed insured members (Medical Underwriting). The job holder will work closely with sales team, BOSS team, Contact center, Claims team and Crack team for smooth closure of cases. Accountabilities & Activities:

  • Risk assessment of proposed insured members sourced from Direct sales, Agency and or Telesales (New Business ; Portability ; Renewals and Post issuance Disclosure / Non disclosure cases)
  • Risk assessment of Proposed insured sourced from Telesales through Tele Underwriting calls
  • Monitor and work upon TAT of the cases
  • Analysis of MIS and Dashboards
  • Out Bound calls to the customer if required
  • Work closely with all the stake holders for quick closure of cases
Qualifications, Training & Experience:
  • A graduate degree holder in any medical discipline (MBBS, BHMS, BAMS etc)
  • Minimum 1 Year of experience in Insurance profile
  • Good Medical Knowledge and able to leverage it for risk assessment
  • Strong Communication/Presentation Skills
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ready to work for extended hours during month ends
  • Good communication and influencing skills, able to communicate well with customer and also within team
Competencies:
  • Good in Communication skills and presentation skills
  • Good hand hold on MS Office
  • Coordination with various stake holders
  • Customer and issues resolution focused
  • Good knowledge of Max Bupa Systems
  • Adhering to Max Bupa principles and values
