MS Delivery Manager

Job Description

We are now looking for a Managed Service (MS) Delivery Manager; do you want to join us In this role, you will secure delivery performance in alignment with the business case and managed service targets. You will be responsible to secure the quality and cost of the services delivered from their delivery unit either global or local in accordance to the expected levels agreed in the Working Level Agreements (WLA) and handle service performance requirements (global benchmark and targets). You will need to understand and act upon the end to end delivery performance even when the delivery is fragmented, thru a proper coordination with a MS Delivery Manager responsible for other parts of the delivery.Responsibilities:Overall responsible for circuit core engineering (CC), packet core (PC) and MPBN engineering and IN/VAS Operations planning and engineering deliverables in the Region. Handling all circuit core engineering, Packet Core, MPBN and IN/VAS Operations planning and operations, regional engineering activities in the region, typical activities are corrective and preventive maintenance but also network changes that requires physical intervention on Packet Core, MPBN and IN/VAS. He/she has to ensure that all dimensioning and capacity planning deliveries to customers are made in a professional manner, achieving customer satisfaction and securing profitability for Ericsson.

• Overall In charge of circuit core engineering, Packet Core, MPBN and IN/VAS Operations planning and operations, regional engineering.
• Responsible for SLA adherence with interface departments and customer
• In charge of Packet Core, MPBN and IN/VAS Engineering and operations Teams Competence Development and Growth.
• In charge of Circuit core engineering Teams Competence Development and Growth.
• Ensure that Circuit Core, Packet Core, MPBN and IN/VAS team Comply to processes, procedure to provide world class network availability and reliability.
• Responsible for all Planned Work activities of PC, MPBN and IN/VAS.
• To Manage and control operational resources and costs.
• Ensure guidelines for Operations Planning (all dimensioning and capacity planning deliveries) to external/Internal customers.

Main Tasks

• Manage day to day Engineering activities within area of responsibility, regional engineering, Circuit Core engineering, Packet Core, MPBN and IN/VAS engineering and performance.
• Define and Issue Guidelines for Dimensioning and Capacity Planning consultation with Technical Solutions and MSIP.
• Interfacing between MSIP and circles on Engineering scope and KPIs, deliverables.
• Manage day to day Maintenance of all PC, MPBN IN & VAS system under OSD and manage provisioning.
• Ensuring timely preparation of quarterly capacity planning, NCPs, CLPs, and quarterly BoQs by circles, supporting resolution of issues with MSIP.
• Scheduling and reviewing all planned work (change Request) across the Network,
• Coordinate with TSG- PC, MPBN and IN/VAS for efficient implementation of service request and complaint handling.
• Coordinate with GSDC (BO, FO, CM, NOC), D&P and MSIP for effective O&M operations and effective functioning of network. Maintain effective technical support staff for PC, MPBN and IN and VAS operations.

• Manage all the activities with allocated resources (man &machine) with thebest utilization of resources.
• Advise Service Delivery Manager to improve Service Performance andcontractual obligations.
• Vender management, Spare management and PM management and control
• Planning and control of Quality Deployment and integration of new nodes (infra as well as equipment)
• Support pre-sales activities for new features, Circuit Core, PC, MPBN IN/VAS Design area. Lead the team in delivering Network Design review services. Give technical support to Sales, Marketing, Project managers and the Customer.
• Monitoring of Network Performance to remain within set KPI s in Circuit Core, PC, MPBN and IN.VAS domain.

• Ability to work in a matrix organisation with a split between line and functional responsibility.
• Ability to adapt to the local cultural requirements, and able to function in India.
• Supporting and guiding teams on Trouble-shooting optimisation: solving network problems through knowledge-sharing, experience in radio network design and operation, detailed knowledge of GSM system design and principles, as well as 3pp vendor specific operations.
  1. Major decisions

Head regional core and regional engineering shall have the authority to manage the Packet Core, MPBN and IN/VAS function with profitability. He has the authority to act on relevant problems and to decide on what procedures and routines for service deliveries that shall be invoked to ensure that configuration and / or quality problems are corrected according to prevailing requirements. The authority shall in general be sufficient in order to make all necessary decisions concerning the technical solution within the proposed and/or ordered contract framework.

Telecom Engineer with extensive experience in Operation/ Design/ Planning/ Optimization of GSM/3G networks.Should have experience as Team Lead.
